James was full of life, fun, caring, love and determination. He worked as a beekeeper. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone. He instantly liked who he met. He loved his family. His late father, Darryl E. Lewis, preceded him in death on February 26, 1990. No father and son could have had a bond like these two. His mother, Lisa Myers Woltz, was the same with James also. They shared some wonderful times in New York. His best friend was his cousin, Wendi Lewis. They were like sister and brother. He also had a brother, Ronald Cherrier and (step)Sister, Michelle who loved him dearly. His Grandma, Loresa Harrison, he would call Ma, was truly his inspiration and where he lived. James told his Ma to call and let his Mom know he was moving up with her just before his accident.
James will be truly missed. For all who knew and loved him, there will always be an empty space in their hearts.

I will forever love you my child. From the day I conceived you until the day I give my last breath. I will be ready for God to take me home and for you to finally be with me forever. I can't wait to hear you say, "Mama, I love you" the way only you could say it to me. I miss you so much my son.

Today, Tomorrow, Forever and Always- I will love you my child,
