Matthew "Matt" Scott, 30, of Limestone, died Tuesday evening as result of injuries received in an accident.
He loved motorcycles and riding with his motorcycle friends, however, his love for his daughter was even greater. "Doodle bug", as he called her, was a daddy's girl. He recently got her a matching motorcycle and he taught her how to ride that very day.
He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his daughter: Calyssa; mother: Sheila Scott; father: Jerry L. Scott; grandparents: Bobby and Margaret Scott; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Johnny and Lucille Holt.
At his request his body will be cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
