Jerry attended Union High School. He worked at Humble Gas Station with his brother, and then went to work as a tool and die maker at FE Meyers Pumps. He was the owner of Beaver Mower and Saw Service and he most recently worked at Mansfield News Journal as a delivery man. Jerry had a love for anything that had an engine and enjoyed motorcycles, NASCAR and camping. He never came in contact with a stranger and he had a way of always making people laugh with his joking, playful personality.
He is survived by his children, Jerry D. (Cely) Beaver Jr., Stacey Arnold (Jay Brokaw), and Anita Beaver; his significant other, Loretta Biglin; his grandchildren, Audrey T. (Anthony) Beaver-Simmons, Abigail G. Beaver, Ashley A. Arnold, Aaron R. (Ashley) Arnold, Meghan H.M. Arnold, Kierstyn M.L. Bays, Kalysta M.L. Beaver, and Kiera A.L. Beaver; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Easton, Ashton, Kolton, Keagan, Lucy, Nova, and Miles; a sister, Lana Mulvane,; nieces and nephews, Thomas D. Beaver, Joann Snell, Jerry Dale Fulwider, and Kelly Fulwider; great niece and nephews, Tyler Snell, Kyle Fulwider and Lindsey Fulwider. He is preceded in death by his parents; two daughters, Robin Beaver and Mona Beaver; a great grandson, Kennedy Allen-Beaver; a brother, Thomas L. Beaver; a niece, Lana Ann Fulwider; and a great nephew, Robert M. Risner
The family will welcome friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St. A funeral service officiated by Rev. Christopher R. Thomas will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in Jerry’s memory to the American Red Cross, 39 N.
