He was born in Sumner County on January 27, 1958 to Flora Gregory and the late Hall Gregory.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his brother, Steve Gregory, two nephews, Darin and Cory Gregory, and great-nephew, Brandon Gregory.
He is survived by three daughters, Stacy (Travis) Scott of Goodlettsville, Angelique (Brandon) Leftwich of White House, and Shasta (Austin) Esposito of Clarksville; one son, Alex Gregory of Hendersonville.
He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Lali Scott, Gabriel Scott, Gavin Scott, Evan Leftwich, Catalina Leftwich, Cheyenne Leftwich, and Camilla Leftwich; mother, Flora Gregory; three brothers, Kenneth (Annetta)Gregory of Portland, Larry (Jan) Gregory of Mt. Juliet, Ricky (Beverly) Gregory of Scottsville, Ky; two sisters, Cindy (Stanley) Carter of Portland, and Lisa (Bill) Reichart of Portland; sister-in-law, Theresia Gregory of Greenbrier; 14 nieces and nephews; 34 great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
Mark was a gifted musician and songwriter before having a stroke. He was a Christian and a member of Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church. His pleasures in life were his children and grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant General Baptist Church with Bro. Kenneth Gregory officiating.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 and Friday from 11 a.m. till funeral time at 1 p.m. All visitation time will be held at the church.
Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery.
