His passion was gardening. I can remember us leaning out the upper level window to reach onto the trellis to pick grapes when they were ripe. He also enjoyed woodworking and took pride in doing home repairs.
Grandpa passed away November 2, 1972 in Washington, DC. He is buried at Washington National Cemetery.
We used to snuggle in the rocking chair and watch I DREAM OF JEANNIE. I miss him all the time.
