Services for Joel Wayne Ward, 61, of McKinney, TX are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the College Heights Baptist Church, Bud Wolf will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Ward died Monday, May 1, 2017 in McKinney, TX.  He was born September 24, 1955 in Ada to Jesse Freeland and Susie Pearl Dismukes Ward.  He graduated from Latta High School.
He married Lauri Jean Lang on September 24, 1994 in Ada.  Mr. Ward graduated from OSU Tech in Okmulgee and was a master technician for Hudiburg Nissan of Oklahoma City and other dealerships.
Survivors include his wife, Lauri, of the home; two sons, George Michael Ward and “JJ” Wayne Ward, Jr. of the home;  his mother, Susie Ward, of Noble; four sisters, Tricia Wolf of Noble, Joyce Cavins of Colorado, Melva Ryles of Colorado and Kay Phillips of Carnage; two brothers, Melvin Ward of Ada and Tommy Ward of Hominy, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Ward and a brother Jimmy Ward.
Bearers will be his nephews.
