ROUND ROCK, TX - Mrs. Ola Mae Shue, 83 was born March 29, 1923 and passed away Thursday, February 7, 2007 after a short illness. Ola was a resident of Round Rock, Texas where she lived with her daughter Donna and her son-in-law Walter Koehne and their children David and Craig. She previously made Bossier City her home for 35 years until the death of her husband Harold Shue in 1999.
Ola is survived by her identical twin Lola Alford with whom she shared a life-time of love and caring that only sisters can know. She was a wonderful and loving mother to her children Beverly Franklin, Ronald and wife Barbara, and Donna Koehnne and husband Walter. Ola was also a very very special and giving Grandmother and Great-Grandmother to Keith and Kenny Franklin, Michael and Rachael Shue, David and Craig Koehne , and Kyra and Kadance Koehne. She was equally caring and giving to those who joind the family: Kenny's wife Gabby and David's wife Jessica.
Services will be held at Hill Crest Funeral Home in Haughton, LA. Visitation will be Monday evening February 12, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with chapel services at Hill Crest beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 with Bro. Billy Pierce, Pastor of Cypress Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Cemetery.
Ola will be sadly missed by here sister, children, grandchildren, family and friends.
