Westminster, SC – Kathy Elaine Owens, 54, of Sunshine Circle, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015. A native of Westminster, SC, she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Frances Sanford Owens. Kathy was always a loving and tender jokester, you never wanted her to catch you napping if there was a straw broom in the house, because she would have you slapping yourself and she would be giggling in delight. She cared for many during their last hours on earth and believed in loving and caring for those individuals so they could pass with dignity and love. Everyone she cared for became her family. She was of Baptist Faith and attended several local churches. She also attended Westminster Elementary, Middle and High Schools.
