Evelyn Rose (Geary) "Topsy" Sullivan, age 82, of Stoneham, formerly of Malden, died peacefully at her home, April 29, 2017. She was lovingly known as "Topsy, and was nicknamed by her sister, after the Ethel Merman song, You're The Top' Evelyn was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend.

Evelyn was the beloved wife of Kenneth F. Sullivan for 62 plus years, having married him in the First Baptist Church of Everett in May of 1954. She is survived by her four children, Cheryl Marlow and Alan of Weston, Kenneth Sullivan of Nashua, Brian Sullivan and Sue Mitchell, of Milford. and Marie Elliott and Kenneth of Plymouth as well as 11 cherished grandchildren. She was very excited to be a great grandmother in June. She was the loving sister of Constance Madigan of Revere, and John Geary of Chelmsford; and predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Weirs Funeral Home, 144 Salem St, Malden on Thursday, May 4th, from 4-8 P.M.
Her funeral service will be held in the First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St, Wakefield on Friday, May 5th, at 11 AM.
Services will conclude with internment at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, 185 Lake St., Peabody.
The family wishes to thank Jasmine LaFortune, RN, and all the other caregivers at Care Dimensions Hospice.
Also, many thanks to Dr. Timothy Ferris M.D., MPH, Roberta Terrazzano, NCM, and Katie White, NP, from MGH and their loving "concierge" care through the years. Thank you for the many visits and love from family and friends during her illness.
