Lula F. Johnson 84 of Richmond died March 4, 2021, at her home.

She was born August 30, 1936, in Estill County, Kentucky to William and Viola Plowman Durbin and lived here most of her life.

She formerly worked at Richmond Baking Company, Nettle Creek Industries, and retired from Transilwrap. She was a member of Centerville Christian Church.

Lula is survived by six children Janet Williams, Bobby (Marcia) Johnson, Patricia Parker of Richmond, Donna (Michael) Whalen of Centerville, Sandra (Bryan) Dillman, and Melissa (Kelly) Cox of Richmond, fifteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, nineteen great-great-grandchildren, two brothers Charles Durbin and Arnold "Junior" Mayse, one sister Katherine Johnson, nieces, and nephews.

Her husband Thomas died in 1986. She is also preceded in death by two sons Thomas Johnson Jr. and Charles Edward Johnson, her parents, and three brothers Manuel, Edward, and Ernest Durbin.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, March 8, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Chaplain Rick Alvey officiating and will be live-streamed of the funeral home Facebook page.

Her burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
