Funeral services for Pearlie Brown 76, of Kendleton, Texas will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Little Zion Missionary Church, 13230 Battle Rd. in Kendleton. Burial will follow at Powell Point Cemetery in Kendleton. Family will receive family and friends starting at 9:30 a.m. at Little Zion Missionary Church.
She was born March 21, 1941 in La Grange, Texas and she passed away April 27, 2017 in Katy, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Elmo Brown, and Katie Mae Brown Poole and husband, James Poole; her son, Lloyd Henry Hester; her grandparents, Beatrice Satterfield and Van James; her aunts, Lessie Lee Moore and Irene Satterfield; her brother, Dana Poole; her sister, Bobbie Jean Brown.
She is survived by her children, David Turner Brown, Robert Carter Brown and wife, Karisma, Lamar "Cookie" Williams and wife, Aminata, Sky Marie Brown, and Lisa Martinez and husband, Jose; her sister, Marion Brown Singleton and husband, Fletcher, from Corpus Christi; her step-brother, Lamon Poole of California; her special nieces, Zacqueline (Zacquie) Singleton, Catherine (Capi) Singleton, and Kimberly Singleton-Kimble of Raleigh, North Carolina; her special cousins, Rose Kitchen and Karee Harris; her grandchildren, Baby Lu Tholley, Jayden Martinez, Phillip James Smith, Ethan Leroy Hayes, Jr., Isaiah Malachi Smith, Alfred Rashid, Jared Williams; and let's not forget her 4 legged grandchild, "Dice Brown".; her great-grandchildren, Mya Rashid, Lamar Rashid, Alexandra Ampadu, Festus Tholley, Gabriel Tholley, Makayla Tholley, and Alfred Rashid; as well as other loving family members and friends.
