Mr. Raymond Floyd Folts, son of William C. and Mary (Bill) Folts, died in his home on S. Lackawanna St. following a period of ill health. He had built and established the Blue Goose Restaurant near his home, but had been working at Gunlocke’s for the two years preceding his death. He was survived by his wife, Ethel Smith Folts, a daughter, Mrs. Harry (Janet) Zigenfus, and two sons, James and Claude. Also surviving were his mother, Mrs. Mary C. Folts, and two sisters, Mrs. Claude Veed of Long Branch, California and Mrs. Marvin Wolfanger of Loon Lake. His wife was an invalid and died about four months later.

According to the obituary, Mr. Folts was buried in Wayland Village Cemetery, but no marker has yet been located for him.
