Jonathan Bernard Hunt was born on September 20, 1971 in Palestine, Texas to Carl Lewis Hick and Northa Naomi Hunt. He was the first of five children.

Jonathan was raised in Palestine, Texas and attended Palestine ISD, graduating with the class of 1990.

He accepted Christ as a child and united with Jasper Baptist Church. He was baptized by Rev. A.E. Isabell.

On February 20, 2017 in Dallas, Texas, Jonathan left this earth on the Wings of Angels. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl L. Hicks and Lester Crawford; grandparents, JoAnn Hunt and Arthur Lee Skinner, Paul and Winnie M. Hicks; great grandparents, Rosie and Curtis Hunt; uncle, Rubie Hicks.

His loving survivors are: mothers, Northa Crawford and Evelyn Hicks; brothers, Cedric Hunt, Curtis Hunt, Kelvin Crawford, Gerald Hicks, Lance Hicks, Leigh Crawford; sisters, Tracy Crawford, Katrina Long; five aunts, Marilyn Wiggins, Angela Hicks, Alma Hicks, Alice Tedder; uncles, Rev.
