Andrea Jean Henson, age 56, suddenly passed of natural causes on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.

Due to this unexpected loss the family is wishing to celebrate her life with as many family and friends as possible. Two memorial services are being held in her honor. The gospel of Jesus Christ will be shared.

Memorial services will be held:

Friday, May, 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo. Pastor Percy Young officiating.

Saturday, May, 20, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Bible Baptist Church, 68080 County Road 23 in New Paris, Indiana. Pastor Mike Gross officiating.

Andrea was born on October 15, 1960 to Robert “Tommy” Henson and Barbara Henson.

This was a shared day of the year as her parents and brother, Brian Henson, celebrate respective wedding anniversaries on October 15th (1955) (1988).

She grew up in Milford and graduated from Wawasee High school in 1980.

Andrea and her longtime partner Patricia Ann Miller were married on June 6, 2015. ‘Patty’ recently lost her year battle to stage 4 lung and kidney cancer on February 23, 2017. Andrea was by her side through this difficult last year and was still mourning her loss.

She was known for her incredible personality which suited her hard working position as supervisor in various factories her entire adult life. Her most recent employers, Western Power sports, Ashley, Indiana for the past 1.5 years and Guardian Industries, Ligonier, Indiana for 17 years; but not withstand are other prior employers in Warsaw and Syracuse where she still is known.

She loved to laugh. Her pets were a source of joy to her often to the chagrin of family and friends as they were fiercely loyal to her alone. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends crafting. Count yourself blessed if you have received these precious gifts of her love in form of handmade cards over the years. However, many know her as an avid softball player. The first girl to hit an over the fence home run in Milford set the stage for years of continued enjoyment. She departed way too early. We will always hold a piece of her in our hearts.

Survivors include: Brothers: Dave Henson, California; nephew Chad (Stacey) Henson, California.; ;Bobby Henson, Milford, Indiana; nephews Chris, Milford; Travis, Goshen; Kyle, Milford; Brian (Sheila) Henson Plainfield, Indiana; nephew Justin, niece Julia; Sister: Carla (Brent) Cavender, Leesburg, Indiana; nephew Robbie, Kentucky; Brothers: Ed (Kitty) Miller, Kendallville, Indiana; Bryan Miller, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Phil and Jessi Miller, Ashley, Indiana.; Sister-n-law: Vicki Herbert, Hamilton, Indiana.

Memorials: may be directed to family or Grace Bible Baptist Church.
