Newbern, Tenn., Jan. 27 - Word has reached Newbern from the War Department at Washington, D.C., announcing the death of Robert Edgar Austin, a prominent Dyer countian, who died in a base hospital behind the firing lines in France, from being severely wounded while fighting for freedom on the western front in France.
