OBITUARY: SHANNON JORGENSON DAVIS
Shannon Jorgenson Davis, 25, of Mesa, Washington returned home to her Heavenly Father on April 25th, 2017. Shannon was born on December 12th, 1991 in Richland, Washington, the last of 6 children of Pete and Anne Jorgenson. She grew up in Basin City, Washington, graduating from Connell High School in 2010. She then attended Columbia Basin College.
She met Chase Davis and was married December 16, 2011. They have 3 beautiful daughters, Cora Lynn, Lillian Sara, and Evelyn Janae, who Shannon loved dearly. Shannon and her family were sealed for time and all eternity in the St. Paul, Minnesota Temple. As a family they lived in Kennewick, Minnesota, Virginia and back to Basin City last spring.
Shannon loved being a mother. She also excelled in music, playing the trumpet and piano; she enjoyed playing softball and volleyball; as well as being a talented seamstress, making many of her girl's dresses.
Shannon was a dedicated and faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings.
Shannon is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gordon and Zora Crowther; nieces, Zora LeighAnne and Johnny Ray Bosted.
She is survived by her husband Chase Davis, daughters, Cora Lynn, Lillian Sara and Evelyn Janae, parents Pete and Anne Jorgenson; Grandparents Bill and Sharon Jorgenson, Joyce Jorgenson; siblings Brenda Jorgenson, Lisa Benites (Jose), Mishelle Bosted (Doug), Patricia Rhinehart, Daniel Jorgenson (Briana); in-laws Kim Davis (Ty Craig), Sara Davis, Charles and Mary Davis, Colin and Cameryn Jones; many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins
A viewing will be held on Sunday April 30th at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home 1608 W. Court Street in Pasco, Washington from 5:30pm-7:30pm. There will also be a viewing from 9 to 9:45am before the service.
Shannon's funeral will be held on Monday, May 1st at 10am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 160 Bailie Blvd in Basin City, Washington, with burial services to follow at the Country View Cemetery.
Shannon's family is deeply grateful for their sweet Shannon. She will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.
