Opal Louisa Andrews, aged 91, of Ivanhoe passed away on April 22, 2017.

Opal was born on May 30, 1925 in Drumright OK. She grew up in Drumright and the surrounding areas and moved to Tulare County California in the 1940s. Soon after moving to California, Opal married the love of her life, Marvin Andrews. They settled in the Yettem and Seville areas and had two children; Marvin "Wayne" Andrews and Betty Andrews.

Opal spent over 40 years working in the San Joaquin Valley as a field worker and many summers in Washington picking apples with her children. Opal was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her family and loved holidays and family get-together's and any chance to spend time with her family was important to her.

Opal will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held in her honor. Please contact a friend or family member for more information.
