CHILLICOTHE - Georgia Muriel Neal-Andrade, age 77, of San Bernardino, Calif., formerly of Chillicothe, Ill., died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Fontana, San Bernardino County, California.
She was born Sept. 29, 1929, in Peoria, Ill., to George and Ida Gienow Ward. She married Lowell Neal in 1947 in Peoria. He preceded her in death in 1968. She married Rafael Andrade in September 1985 in San Bernardino, Calif. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Stevie (Arthur) Moore of Highland, Calif.; one son, George (Sue) Neal of Morton, Ill.; seven grandchildren, Robert Etheridge, Jeffrey Etheridge, Lowell Neal, Luke Neal, Georgette Brown, Krystle Moore and Lisa de la Pena; and nine great-grandchildren.
She attended Manual High School in Peoria. She worked as a supervisor in the food services at Fairview Developmental Center and Patton State Hospital in California for more than 23 years.
She was a member of the Mount Olive Christian Church in Riverside, Calif., and a former member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Chillicothe, Ill.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, at Dickey Mortuary in Fontana, Calif., led by Georgette Brown.
