Steve Burgess passed away April 28, 2017 in El Reno. He was born Feb. 29, 1952 in El Reno to Roy and Lorraine Burgess. Steve served his country in the National Guard and was active in local flag ceremonies. He owned and operated Southside Package Store for many years and was then employed by Schulte Oil Company. Steve was a NRA enthusiast. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mary Kay Burgess. Surviving him are many cousins, including Ann Schulte and Bill Schulte, both of El Reno; and other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, El Reno. Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home.
