KATHIE I. OSBORNE of Houston, TX died April 9th, 2017 at the age of 67 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

She grew up in the Ft. Worth area where she graduated from LD Bell High School. After moving to Houston, she attended and graduated from the University of Houston and Rice University.

Kathie was employed for more than 40 years in the insurance industry with Prudential and Aetna. She was also a founding member of Homeless & Orphaned Pets Endeavor (HOPE), a cat and dog adoption group in which she was very active for the last 18 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Marvin Osborne of Ft. Worth. She is survived by three siblings, many, many former foster cats and her HOPE family of friends. To the staff at Houston Hospice and Elmcroft of Braeswood Senior Living, a special Thank You for your care and support these last few weeks.
