Annie Lee Stirgus, a native of Woodville,MS and resident of New Orleans,LA, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 19. 2017 at the age of 74.

Annie was born on September 22, 1942, to the late Norman and Stella Ross Stirgus. Annie received Christ at an early age and was baptized at Magnolia Baptist Church in Woodville,MS by Rev. Rutters. Annie relocated to New Orleans, LA in 1962. Annie was the wife of the late Jesse James Croffitt to this union five children were born,Barry,Ronny,Laura,Laverne and Jacqueline Croffit.

Annie joined New Home Missionary Baptist Church in 1981,under the leadership of late Prophet Robert C. Blakes,Sr. Annie was a active member for nearly 40 years, serving on the Usher Board, Mass Choir,and the Pastor Support Committee. Annie truly loved her Prophet,First Lady Lois, her family and church family. She worked as a Caregiver for many years Tobago number of families. She got great joy outbid helping people, you could always find Mama Annie as she was called by many, serving.

She leaves to cherish her memory,her 5 children;Barry(Stephanie),Ronny(Joyce),Laura,Jacqueline Croffitt, and (Charlie) Williams,6 Grandchildren;Whitnae,Christopher,Ryan Amber Croffitt,Jonah Austin, and Charleston Williams;3 Great Grandchildren;Nevaeh Daniel,Jeremiah Croffitt,and Jaida Austin, 1 sister;Sarah Green of Centerville, MS;1 step-sister; Dora Lee Payron of Hillside, Il;3 step-brothers;Ernest Lee, Willie & Joseph Smith, Godchild;Jennifer Carter; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse James Croffitt,her parents, Norman & Stella Stirgus; Step- Mother,Dora Stirgis; 7 brothers;
