Donna M. Browning, 93, of Rochester, MN passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 at Maple Manor Nursing Home.

Donna Mae Sadler was born April 6, 1924 to Ira and Nellie (Helser) Sadler in Spring Valley, MN. Donna grew up and graduated from High School in Spring Valley. After high school she moved to Rochester, where she worked at a variety of administrative and secretarial jobs while waiting for her soon to be husband to return from WWII.

She married Robert Browning in Rochester on November 30, 1946. The couple lived and raised their children in Rochester.

After retirement Donna and Robert enjoyed spending their winters in Brownsville, TX. Robert passed away in 2003.

Donna was active in her church, Disciples of Christ and was passionate about sewing, knitting, quilting, and needle work. She looked forward to the family holidays including the walleye opener.

Donna is survived by her two sons, Dan Browning of Rochester and Steve (Ginger) Browning of Rochester; five grandchildren, Cortney, Lindsey, Chris, Lee, Katie and six great-grandchildren, Noah, Josiah, Hannah, Riley, Abigail, and Carter.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Tom; and a sister, Elaine Adams.

Graveside services will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorials are preferred to Possibilities, ABC Building Center, or R.E.M.
