Mary B. Knox Spencer, 77, Columbus, died Thursday in Columbus. She was born Mary 26, 1908 in Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Luverne (Melson) Bethel. Her husbnad, Wilbur W. Knox, Sr., preceded her in death.


She was a member of the Glen Echo United Presbyterian Church, Flushing Eastern Star and retired from the OSU Hospital.


Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Knox of Columbus and Richard L. Knox of Beavercreek; two daughters, Marjorie Griffith and Sarah E. Fisher, both of Columbus; two sisters, Ola Culbertson of New Athens and Sarah Starkey of Flushing; seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son.


Services were held Friday at the South-Wick-Good Funeral Chapel in Columbus. Burial was in Longview Cemetery in New Athes.
