Scott D. Hamilton, son of Gary and Beulah Hamilton died unexpectedly on April 26, 2017 while working in Del Rio, Texas at the age of 41.
Scott was born on May 12, 1975 in Elyria, OH.
He attended Clearview High School. He worked for Digital Dish for several years. In September of 2016 he began working for Sentry Electrical Group as a wind technician/electrician. Scott loved his job and the friendships he formed. He thought of this as an adventure and new beginning.
Scott was a talented artist. He was a generous and dedicated father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to all he knew. He was passionate about positively impacting the lives of others. He loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle with his brother Paul and his close friends Jason and Brian.
Scott had two children, Anastasia and Triston, with Melissa Burnett Romanello. He was a devoted father. His children remember him as a loving, kind, and passionate father who encouraged them to pursue their dreams.
Scott is survived by his parents, Gary and Beulah Hamilton of Lorain, OH; children, Anastasia Y. Hamilton and Triston E. Hamilton of Medina, OH; siblings, Paul (Jane) Hamilton of Lorain, OH and Garietta (Stephen) McKinney of Grethel, KY; nieces and nephews, Holly (Chris) Dougherty, Nick Hamilton, Hope Hamilton, Belle McKinney, Emily McKinney; and many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Melvin Hamilton, Ocie (Orris) Alley; and his maternal grandparents, Oscar and Mary Belle Newman.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 4 to 8pm, with the funeral service scheduled for 11:00am on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Wyers-Bollinger Funeral Chapel, 2900 N. Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035 with the burial to follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
