PORT HENRY, N.Y. - Marion Dorothea (Catanzarita) Chamberlain, age 90, of Port Henry, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 26th 2017 at the Helen Porter Nursing Home in Middlebury, Vt.
She was born on May 1st 1926 in Port Henry, N.Y., she was the daughter of Joseph Edward and Evelyn Marie (Brooks) Catanzarita.
She married her 1st husband Francis "Pete" E. Baker on September 20th 1950 at the St. Patrick's Church in Port Henry, New York. They later Separated.
She married her 2nd husband Charles "Ed" Edward Chamberlain on July 22nd 1989 in Ferrisburg, Vermont.
Marion worked at her Family Owned Business, Nu Way Laundry in Port Henry, N.Y. for many years then worked at Simmons Precision in Vergennes, Vt. until her retirement.
She enjoyed living a very active and fun life, traveling, golfing, camping, dancing, music, shopping, shuffleboard, cards, cook outs, church, going out to eat and most of all spending time with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents; her father Joseph Catanzarita on August 22nd 1952 and her mother Evelyn Catanzarita on May 31st 1994, two brothers; Francis J. Catanzarita on July 2nd 1944 and William E. Catanzarita on December 22nd 1997, one sister; Lucille Helen (Catanzarita) Sprague on June 16th 2015, one sister-in-law; Elizabeth Shea, and one brother-in-law; James "Earl" Earl Sprague Jr. on January 4th 2008.
