He was widely known as an expert finisher of antique furniture, his business for more than 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lilla Ramsdell; six sons and daughters, Charles A. Ramsdell, Arthur L. Ramsdell, Mrs. Carl Smith, Miss Ida B. Ramsdell, of Bangor; Earl A. Ramsdell of Brownville Junction, and Vaughn L. Ramsdell of San Antonio, Texas; also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A private funeral service will be conducted at the residence, 46 Market St., Tuesday.
