Bernard was the owner of The Canterbury Shop in Mt. Brook for many years.
He was a decorated veteran of World War II and served at the Battle of the Bulge.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Nancy Selber Goldstein; brothers: Lawrence and Donald Goldstein; his parents, Nathan and Rose Goldstein.
Survivors include his sons: Bernard M. Goldstein, Jr. and wife Lynda, Michael S. Goldstein and wife Pam, Jerry R. Goldstein, Sr. and wife Catherine; brother-in-law, Leonard Selber and wife Mary Anne; sister-in-law, Mitzi Goldstein. Bernard is also survived by five grandchildren and their spouses, seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of Fair Haven and also the staff at the VA Hospital.
