She had been bedfast for three weeks. She was born in Middletown, Frederick County, and was a Miss Feete.
She was a sister of the late Rev. Daniel Feete.
Mrs. Brendel moved to Hagerstown with her husband and family in 1871. She was a member of Zion Reformed Church, having joined the Reformed Church at Middletown in early youth.
She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Peter Gray, this city; Frank A., Washington, DC; Chas. H., Grafton, WV; Graves S., Baltimore; and Miss Mary E., at home.
Funeral Tuesday afternoon with services at the house; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
