Jerry Wayne Brock, 67, of Denton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Medical City of Denton.
Jerry was born on July 12, 1949 in Norfolk, VA to Donald Brock, Jr. and Doris (Bragg) Brock. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam and received a purple heart. He was married to Roni Lynn Wheeler on January 16, 1997 in Ladson, SC. He worked for many years as a retail manager for S&K Menswear.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Roni Brock of Denton; daughters, Jennifer Neal of Woodbridge, VA, Michelle Smith of Denton; sons, Jeremy Brock of Fredericksburg, VA, Jerry Thorsell of Charleston, SC, Joshua Thorsell of Charleston, SC; brothers, Joe Baber of Norfolk, VA, Ron Brock of Woodbridge, VA; eleven grandchildren.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia at 11:00 AM Wednesday May 24, 2017.
