Eugene C. Eller, age 63, of Barnum, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at home. He was born April 22, 1949 in Superior, WI to Donald and Esther (Mahlman) Eller and graduated from Barnum High School. Gene worked in the finishing room for Potlatch/Sappi Corp. and was a member of the Potlatch Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed motorcycling, hunting, fishing, and reading.
Gene was preceded in death by his father; and one granddaughter, Anna. He is survived by wife, Cheryl, mother, sons, Kyle (Sandra) and Eric; brothers, Steven (Dawn Marie), David (Jody), and Dan; grandchildren, Jonnica, Erica, Elisabeth, and Maria; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4:30-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, at Nelson Funeral Care. The visitation will resume Thursday, April 4, from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service at Salem Lutheran Church in Mahtowa, MN.
