Mary moved to northern VA after she graduated from Fordyce High School. Her sister lived in Alexandria and she lived with her and found secretarial work in Arlington, VA. She married Kenneth K. Harding, of the Loudon Co. VA Harding's, Dec. 20th, 1949. Her three daughters had her cremated, per her wishes. Her ashes are interred at a favorite place.
