The Lord called Louise Alice Clark Howard to her heavenly home on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the age of 92 years old. Louise was born in Hog Jaw Valley, AL and later made her home in New Hope, TN. She loved to sew and quilt which led her to work for various sewing factories in the valley. Louise collected clocks, salt cellars and oil lamps. She loved her family with all her heart, she enjoyed traveling and going out to eat. In her pastime, you would find her gardening and working with her various flowers.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh A. Howard; parents, Floyd and Mae Reynolds Clark; brother, Floyd Clark, Jr.; sister, Nettie Clark; her children, Johnny and Hugh Allen Jr., Barbara Faye Kelly and Martha Sue Baker and son-in-laws, Ed Kelly and James Shafer.
Those left to cherish her beautiful memories are her grandchildren, Debby Johnson (William), Brenda Webb (Jason) and John Kelly (Christy); seven great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
The family will have visitation on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm CST at Tate Funeral Home in Jasper, TN.
The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home with her grandson, John Kelly officiating.
Louise will be laid to rest by her husband, following the funeral service at New Hope Cemetery in New Hope, TN.
