Paul Hilton was born and raised in southern California, but he spent most of his life in northern California, where he worked as a cameraman for a television station in Sacramento. He retired with his wife Virginia to Georgetown, in the Sierra foothills, where he enjoyed many hobbies, including making wine under the "Hilton's Hideaway" label, and making animated windmills to share with family and friends. Paul and Virginia recently relocated to Roseburg, Oregon, where Paul died at home in Virginia's arms.
He is survived by Virginia, and two of his children with his first wife Gretchen. He was predeceased by his two older siblings, two of his sons with Gretchen, and all three of his former wives. Paul was a bright, energetic spirit, loved by many. He will be greatly missed.
