GREENWOOD - Mrs. Betty J. Graham, 70, of 326 Sullivan Street, passed Saturday morning at the residence of a daughter.
Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late Joe Berry Graham and Jonell Sims Graham.
She was a member of Weston Chapel AME Church, Elks Regional Temple No. 790, graduate of Brewer Class of 1951, a graduate of Apex Beauty School in Phila., Pa., a former employee of Martha and Betty Beauty Shop on Walker St. and retiree of the former Monsanto.
She was the last member of her immediate family.
Surviving are one nephew, Napoleon Tolbert, Jr., Columbia; three nieces, Linda Settles (Jerome), Columbia, Deborah Ryans (Jerry), Greenwood and Patricia Hill (Judd), Boston, Mass.; a cousin, Juanita Smith, Ft Worth, Md.; 3 great-nieces; 4 great-nephews; two brothers-in-law. Napoleon Tolbert, Sr., Greenwood and James Lane, Boston, Mass.
Funeral plans will be announced later by Percival-Tompkins Funeral Home. The family is at the home of a niece, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Deborah) Ryans of 207 Puckett Point Road.
