James W. Aubrey, 67, died Monday at Caritas Medical Center.
He was a native of Indianapolis, a retired employee of Ford Motor Co. an Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a former auditor for the United Auto Workers International Union, and a member of Masonic Lodge 506
Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 25, State Democratic Executive Committee, Pat Greenwell South End Democrat Club, Rat Racers of Louisville, Derby City Bop Club, DuPont Manual High School Alumni Association, American Legion Post 220 and Grace Lutheran Church.
Survivors: his wife of 46 years the former Barbara Schroeder; a daughter Vicki Welch; a son J. Kevin Aubrey; a brother, Delmus Aubrey; a sister Marion Dunkley, and two grandchildren.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Friday, Keenan’s, 4724 Dixie Highway. Entombment: Louisville memorial Gardens West Mausoleum. Visitation: 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m.-9p.m. Thursday and after 10 am. Friday.
Memorial gifts: American Diabetes Association.
