Shirley "Putt" Scott Harmon was nicknamed Putt when her young brother called her pretty but pronounced it putty instead. She was a Dietary Unit Supervisor at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center until her retirement. She was the mother of three children; Charles Eugene Harmon who preceded her in death, Susan Voncyle Harmon Brant and Brian James Harmon. Mrs. Harmon was cremated and will be interred next to her parents - Sam and Alma Scott, sister - Voncyle Scott Wilson and son Charles Harmon.
