Survivors include: Two brothers: Jimmy (Judy) Spears of New Madrid, Missouri; Glen "Son" Spears of New Madrid, Missouri; Sister: Carolyn (Dusty) Grooms of Portageville, Missouri; and other relatives and many friends.
Mavis was preceded in death by one daughter: Deborah Young and two brothers: Alton Spears and Clayton "Buddy" Spears.
Mavis was of Portageville, Missouri and passed away April 25, 2017.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday April 26,2017 at the McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Missouri. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, April 27, 2017 at the McDaniel Chapel in Kennett. Reverend Griff Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kennett, Missouri. McDaniel Funeral Service of Kennett, Missouri will be in charge of the arrangements.
