Brenda Carol Windle Lambert, 60, of Mount Jackson, Virginia, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Service in Bowman's Crossing.
At Brenda's request there will be no services.
Mrs. Lambert was born December 4, 1956 in Shenandoah County, daughter of the late James Frederick, Sr. and Alice Virginia Kline Windle.
She was a 1975 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Roger, Raymond and Deryl Windle; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Tony Ryman; and nephew, Harley Windle.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Gary Wayne Lambert, whom she married on August 6, 1988; sisters and brothers, Joyce Keller and husband Bobby, Jean Bauserman and husband Clark, Fred Windle and companion Suzanne Seippel, Seward Windle and wife Oleta, Harry Windle and wife Dorothy, all of Woodstock, Betsy Hines and husband Jerry of Mt. Jackson and T.K. Windle of Arizona; special cousin, Judy Lam of Gordonsville; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
She was previously married to Mickey Leon Dellinger.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shenandoah County Animal Shelter, 268 Landfill Road, Edinburg, VA. 22824.
Brenda loved the outdoors, yard sales, her two dogs, and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife and sister and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
