Ruby L. Scott, 80, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at her home here.

She was born April 1, 1899, in Henry County and was a lifelong resident of this community. From 1943 to 1952 she operated restaurants in Lewisville, Straughn and Scotts Cafe in Cambridge City. She was a member of Straughn Community Chapel.

Survivors include three sons, Wilman, Charles and Marvin; three daughters, Lela Kiplinger, Beulah Oldham and Rosalyn Bryant; and two sisters, Maude James and Mildred Addison. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
