Sylvia "Dianne" Folds, age 66 of Carrollton, passed away April 30, 2017. She was born July 18, 1950 in Carroll County, Georgia to the late Bernard Judson Lyle, Sr., and Bessie Mae Mize Lyle. She worked for Dollar General for 12 years as an assistant manager and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Delma Folds, sister, Cynthia Lyle; brother, Bernard Judson, Jr., and grandson, Brennan Matthew Emanuel. Survivors include her children, Dawn and Steven Cook of Carrollton, Denise (Richard) Folds of Carrollton, Donnie and Susan Folds of Bowdon, and Darlene and Matthew Emanuel of Roopville; sisters, Trudy Lyle of Ft. Rucker, AL, Debra and Greg Peck of Loxley, AL, Sandra and Jerome George of Atmore, Al, and Teresa Taylor of Woodland, AL; brothers, Tony and Niki Lyle of Taylorsville, and Steve and Sarah Lyle of Carrollton; four grandchildren, Jennifer Camp, Nathan Camp, Haley Cook, and Kayson Emanuel; and one great grandchild, Brianna Gayle Camp. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Min. Tony Lyle officiating. Interment will follow in Lowell Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Porter officiating. Those serving as pallbearers will be, Donnie Folds, Steven Porter, Ty Lyle, Lynn Stevens, Nathan Camp, Steve Lyle.
