Ravenna, Michigan Wilma Jean Evans age 81, of Ravenna, MI died Friday, April 21, 2017 at Mercy General Health Partners-Hackley Campus. Wilma was born on April 13, 1936 in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Marion "Jack" and Amy (Long) Davey. She married Bernard Evans on August 11, 1957 and he preceded her in death on December 30, 2015 after 59+ years of marriage.
Wilma is survived by her Daughter: Starr (Randolph) Rico of Ravenna, 5 Sons: Kenneth (Donna) Knoll of Evart, Larry (Peggy) Evans of Muskegon, Bernie (Deb) Evans of Grand Rapids, Ed and Ted Evans both of Ravenna. 20 Grandchildren and 42 great and 7 great-great grandchildren also survived by 1 Brother: Kenneth (Chris) Sandy of Muskegon, several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Bernard, Son Gary Evans, 1 Sister: Norma Matney. 2 brothers: Martin and Clayton Davey.
Funeral Services for Wilma Jean Evans will be conducted on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 12:00 pm with Pastor Don VanSlyke officiating. Burial will be in Moorland Township Cemetery. The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna from on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to: Mel Trotter Ministries. The Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna is in charge of funeral arrangements.
