Helen Webster Moss, 93, a resident of Piedmont Crossing Retirement Center of Thomasville, formerly of Mirror Lake Drive, Burlington passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017.

Born in Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Moss was the wife of the late Dolan Leonard Moss and the daughter of the late James Carey Webster and the late Lenore Moore Webster.

Mrs. Moss began her professional career with Wachovia Bank and retired from the Alamance County Health Department.

Mrs. Moss was an active member of the Baptist faith. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Burlington and the First Baptist Church of Thomasville.

Mrs. Moss graduated from Burlington Business College and was a member of the Thomasville Woman’s Club. She was an avid Bridge player.

Mrs. Moss is survived by her daughter, Sharon LaRocco and her husband, Jim, of Graham; her son, Len Moss and his wife, Vickie, of Burlington; three grandchildren, Meleah LaRocco Lowe and her husband, Brooks, Timothy Moss and his wife, Emily and Ty LaRocco; two great-grandchildren, Cole Moss and Nellie Jane LaRocco and a sister, Nancy Webster Wrenn of Burlington.

The family will receive friends at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington, Monday, May 1, 2017 from 12:30 – 1:30 pm.

A graveside service will be held Monday at 2:00 pm in Alamance Memorial Park.
