Victor C. Jacobs, 78, Altoona, passed away Sunday at his residence. He was born in Altoona, son of the late William and Dorothy (Weller) Jacobs. On August 26, 1987, he married Crystal N. Woolford in Winchester, VA.
Surviving are his wife of 29 years; a son: Gary (Kathleen) Jacobs of Daytona Beach, Fl; a grandson: Bruce; a niece: Becca Mulhollem and a nephew: Jeff Mulhollem.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Irvin and a sister, Mary Mulhollem.
Victor was a 1957 graduate of Altoona High School and a U. S. Marine Corp. veteran. He retired from General Cable as a Purchasing & Maintenance manager.
He was a member of the Lions Club. He was instrumental in setting up the Altoona Purchasing Agency.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no services or viewing. Interment will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by The Stevens Mortuary, Inc. 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
