Susan M. Hughes, 62, of Fond du Lac, died on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.

She was born on March 9, 1955, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Joseph and Dorothy Dodd Krenn. Susan was a waitress and bartender at Gazebo, Beer Nuts, Red Onion, Friends, D & D and later was employed by Quality Packaging in Fond du Lac.

Susan enjoyed shooting pool and was one of the top pool shooters in the city of Fond du Lac. She enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers, Badgers and racing. She also enjoyed playing softball, cribbage, Yahtzee, 500 Rummy, and she loved animals.

Survivors include her significant other: Ray Foote of Fond du Lac, her daughter: Alasha Riendeau (fiancé, Malcolm Weaver) of Madison, two granddaughters: Jasmine Hanson (fiancé, Eugenio Martinez Sr.) and Emily Ann Riendeau both of Madison, her great-grandson: Eugenio “EJ” Martinez Jr., three brothers: Mike Krenn and Robert Krenn both of Fond du Lac and Lee Thomas of Orfordville, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents and her stepdad, Lee Thomas Sr. “Cookie”.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: A celebration of Susan’s life will be held from 2:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Lenny’s on 45, N7562 Lakeshore Drive, Fond du Lac. Cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
