Dale was born in Findlay, Ohio to the late Kenneth and Patricia (Morehead) Swain. Dale is survived by his son Shaun (Amy) Swain of Summerville, South Carolina; siblings: Richard Swain of Hamler, Robert ( Lou) Swain of Oak Harbor, Washington, Sharon (Dennis) Howdyshell of Rochester Hills, Michigan, Dean (Jackie Strick) Gary Swain of McComb and Larry (Dina) Swain of Charleston, South Carolina; grandchildren: Elijah, Alysiah, Jalen and Camden Swain.
Dale was employed with Metal Forge in Deshler for 22 years and also worked for Ishikawa Gasket and the Goodwill Company both in Bowling Green. Dale was a 1976 graduate of McComb High School and enjoyed riding his Harley and his 1968 Pontiac GTO. Dale enjoyed spending time with his family, but especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed going to sporting events and was a humble and simple man.
Visitation for Dale will be on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 PM in the Hartley-Hanneman Funeral Home, 370 Park Dr. S, McComb, Ohio 45858, Drew DeVore, Funeral Director. Dale's funeral service will be on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at 11:00 in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Ten-Mile Cemetery.
