Julie M. Moss, 43, died unexpectedly, after a lifelong illness, at 7:46 p.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born March 23, 1971, in Springfield, to Henry "Sonny" and Jeanne Licata Moss.

Survivors include her mother, Jeanne Mayol of Petersburg; father, Henry "Sonny" Moss of Spartanburg, S.C.; three sisters, Jodie Moss of Springfield and Sarah Moss and Claire Moss of Spartanburg, S.C.; grandparents, Henry and Mary Moss of Springfield; one aunt, Sue (Paul) Sprague of Leesburg, Fla.; and several cousins including Dana Parada of Sherman.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joseph and Mae Licata; paternal grandma, Edna Moss and stepfather, Michael Mayol.

Julie enjoyed music, reading, drawing and art and pop culture. She enjoyed traveling to the beach and spending time by the ocean.

Visitation: 11 a.m.–12 p.m., Friday, July 18, 2014, at Staab Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 12 noon, Friday, July 18, 2014, at Staab Funeral Home with Reverend Christopher House officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
