Mr Hixon was born Christmas Day, 1902, in Scottdale, Pa., a son of Daniel F. and Anna Leighty Hixon, coming here in 1928. He was employed by Youngstown Sheet & Tube and was a charter member of the Fairview Immauel Baptist Church.
He leaves his wife, the former Agnes R. Tedrow, whom he married in 1922; a daughter, Mrs Doyle Kisselburg of Poland and a sister, Mrs Ethel Cole of Tucson, Ariz.
