Mrs. Nadine Weis, age 93 of Benton, KY died on Thursday, April 27, 2017, at her home in Benton, KY. Born Monday, August 6, 1923 in Cherryvale, KS. she was a member of Calvert City United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women She was also a member of the Kentucky Order of the Eastern Star, charter member of the Calvert City Golf Club and was a avid golfer herself.

Mrs. Weis is survived by her son, Thomas E. Weis and his wife Sue of Calvert City, KY, daughter, Mary A. Smith of Toutle, WA, sisters, Doris Botten and her husband Ray of Coal City, IL and Rita Powell and her husband Paul of Weeping Water, NE; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Weis was preceded in death by her huband Charles Leory Weis; daughter, Linda Doom; brother, Donald L. Alexander and sister, Yvonne Hornback. Her parents were the late Henry and Effie (Bussert) Alexander.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 1, 2017 in the chapel of Collier Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Gregory Waldrop officiating. Burial will folllow in Calvert City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held between the hours of 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home, 211 W 5th St, Benton, KY 42025.
