McLEAD - Naomi Chaney McLead, 91, died Tuesday, March 10, 1998. Born March 24, 1906 in Delaware, Ohio, she had resided in Levittown, PA for 35 years before moving to Jacksonville 11 years ago. She was a life member of Fariless Hills Volunteer Fire Department and was a 35 years member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Fariless Hills, PA. While in Jacksonville she was a member of Mandarin United Methodist Church. Mrs. McLead was predeceased by her husband Ralph McLead, her daughter Mary Fosburgh, sister Betty Ponder, and granddaughter Terry Saunders. She is survived by her 2 daughters and sons-in-law Janet and Percy Preble, Jacksonville, and JoLee and Robert Shell, Fayetteville, AR; two sisters: Mrs. Lorraine Isom, Jacksonville, and Mrs Orpha Truitt and her husband Everett, Valparaiso, IN; brother and sister-in-law Melvin and Ruth Chaney, Hobart, IN; 11 grandchildren; Mr and Mrs R. Daniel Preble, Mrs Deborah Leone and Paul and Cynthia LeMieux all of Jacksonville; Larry and Nancy Fosburgh, Lima Ohio, Mrs. Gwen Check, Spencerville, Ohio, William Fosburgh, Hamlet, IN, Kevin Fosburgh Chalfont, PA, Shirley and Marc Campbell, Hobart, IN, Janet Shell, Robert Shell, Jr., and Rebecca Shell all of Fayetteville, AR; 27 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 1:00PM Monday March 16, 1998 at Mandarin United Memorial Church. Interment will be held at a later date in Rosedale Memorial Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.
