She attended Mansfield Senior High School. She married the love of her life, Donald E. Patton on July 11, 1953. They shared nearly 63 years of marriage before his death on June 30, 2016. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always ready with hugs and was sure to have their favorite gum. She loved going to church and reading her Bible. She looked forward to Spring so she could enjoy the birds and to plant flowers. Family gatherings will never be the same without Georgia making the sweet potato casserole, macaroni and potato salad.
She will be greatly missed by her four daughters, Brenda (David) Wright, Debbie (Kevin) Humbert, Cheryl (Bruce) Bailey, and Anita (John) Squire; eleven grandchildren, Justin (Rhiannon) Wright, Matthew (Ember) Wright, Renee (Josh) Vidor, Michael Humbert, Becca Humbert, Micah (Daveeda) Kuhn, Ashley (Curt) Kauffman, Tyler Squire (Sheena Henthorn), Morgan (Neil) Crammer, Colton Squire and Josh Squire; sixteen great-grandchildren; her sister, Loretta Stimens; and her brother, Charlie (Carolyn) Pierce. Pierce; and two great-granddaughters, Madelyn K. Wright and Journey G. Kuhn.
